DriSteem currently has an opening for a North American Business Development Leader. This role is responsible for developing and implementing plans to provide long-term sales growth of DriSteem products, parts, and services in currently under-served markets within North America. This position will collaborate closely with DriSteem's Director of Sales, President, and Director of Marketing to identify new markets for our products, develop sales channels to serve these markets, build brand awareness and distinguish DriSteem with professionalism, dedication, knowledge, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is determined to help DriSteem succeed. This role reports into the Director of Sales.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate new markets for DriSteem products.
  • Develop and implement a strategic and tactical plan to grow sales in our underserved target market(s)
  • Research and evaluate potential market segments and associated products within the USA and Canada that present significant growth opportunities (data center, paint booth, indoor agriculture, industrial process, etc.).
  • Continually re-evaluate and prioritize untapped markets and repeat the strategic plan development and implementation process.
  • Communicate market changes and trends and make recommendations to sales and marketing teams.
  • Using knowledge of specific markets, develop and submit ideas for products, features, services, and other ideas to enhance the value proposition of DriSteem offering.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in business development and sales growth
  • Experience and ability to prospect and generate sales leads
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent related experience at a previous employer or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Assertive and successful professional sales/marketing career experience highly advantageous
  • Aptitude/ability to learn technical details about DriSteem's equipment, installation, and operation
  • Heating/Ventilating/Air Conditioning industry experience is required
  • Working knowledge of Income Statement (profit and loss statement)
  • Experience developing and managing an operating budget
  • Ability to create and maintain CRM database (Zoho preferred) of prospect clients and client information

  • Computer literacy with the typical office suite, CRM, and sales order entry software. Competence in MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Outlook, MSWord, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
