DriSteem Donates Over 600 Items to Local Families Through Household Essentials Drive for PRISM

Eden Prairie, MN – August 2025 – DriSteem, a Madison Air company, recently held a company-wide Household Essentials Drive in support of PRISM. This nonprofit organization provides critical services to individuals and families in need throughout the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area.

In response to a record-breaking 9 million food shelf visits across Minnesota in 2024, PRISM has seen a surge in demand – serving approximately 30 new families per day through its marketplace and food bank. To help meet this growing need, DriSteem employees rallied together for a household essentials drive, collecting more than 600 critical hygiene and household items requested by PRISM. Donations included shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable wipes, toilet paper, and a wide range of household cleaning supplies, helping to restock PRISM’s marketplace shelves and support families facing hardship.

“Our team was excited to support PRISM’s mission and help meet urgent needs in our community,” said Birdy Dahl, Human Resources Director at DriSteem. “We’re proud to give back and hope our donation provides comfort and dignity to those facing difficult circumstances.”

The supply drive is part of DriSteem’s ongoing commitment to community involvement and social responsibility. PRISM, which stands for People Responding in Social Ministry, serves over 6,000 individuals annually through its food shelf, housing assistance, and children’s programs.
