DriSteem to Host Two Free Webinars to Discuss Role of Humidity in Reducing Airborne Virus Transmission

Eden Prairie, MN – April 14, 2020 – DRI-STEEM Corporation (DriSteem), the leading manufacturer of humidification, evaporative cooling, and water treatment products, announced today that the company will offer two free webinars that will discuss the role of humidity in reducing airborne virus transmission. The webinars are presented by Duncan Curd, DriSteem Global Business Development Leader.

The discussion will focus on how maintaining relative humidity between 40 and 60% RH, as recommended by healthcare experts, decreases the amount and infectivity of viruses in the air, resulting in fewer respiratory infections among building occupants. Attendees will receive a .5 hour Professional Development Credit with a Certificate of Completion for all that attend the full presentation.

Those interested have the option to attend the webinar on Wednesday, April 21, 2020 at 10:30 AM (CT) or on Wednesday, April 28, 2020 at 10:30 AM (CT). The webinar content will be the same on both dates so you only will have to complete one meeting. The webinar is free to all, however it does require registration.  Please choose the day and time that works best for you and register by using the link below.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we do almost everything. It is not the first virus to threaten vulnerable populations, and it certainly won’t be the last,” said Jennifer Montville, DriSteem Director of Marketing. We are pleased to offer this free webinar for anyone interested in learning more about non-pharmaceutical ways to protect the health of people in the buildings where we gather.”
