DriSteem to Present on “Best Practices for Adiabatic Humidifier Design” at 2021 ASHRAE Virtual Winter Conference

Eden Prairie, MN – February 04, 2021 – DRI-STEEM Corporation (DriSteem), the leading manufacturer of humidification, evaporative cooling, and water treatment products, announced today that they will be presenting at a seminar, “Best Practices for Adiabatic Humidifier Design” at the 2021 ASHRAE Virtual Winter Conference. The ASHRAE Virtual Winter Conference is being held online February 9 through February 11, 2021. Attendees will hear from three DriSteem experts: Duncan Curd, International Business Development Leader, Ryan Reimer, Product Manager, and David Baird, Senior Applications Engineer.

DriSteem’s presentation will focus on how Adiabatic humidification solutions have the potential to address sustainability demands when providing cooling in regions where cooling requirements are dominant or in applications that generate excess heat loads such as Data Centers and Controlled Environment Agriculture. The presentation will also address energy and water usage considerations and will offer some comparative design examples. DriSteem will review common adiabatic technologies, look at water treatment requirements and solutions, and reference ASHRAE guidelines including hygiene considerations.
