DriSteem’s XT Series Electrode Humidifiers Chosen and Installed to Protect the Hutchinson High School Band Room

Eden Prairie, MN – December 13, 2019 – DRI-STEEM Corporation (DriSteem), the leading manufacturer of humidification, evaporative cooling, and water treatment products, announced today that its XT Series electrode humidifiers were chosen and installed in the Hutchinson High School band room. Hutchinson High School is in the Minnesota Independent School District 423.

The school was completely renovated to provide a more modern look and feel and to accommodate all the needs of the students and faculty.  During renovation, the band director insisted that they humidify the new band room to protect the wooden musical instruments which are vulnerable to swings in temperature and humidity that can cause instruments to warp and crack, changing their sound and performance.  Additionally, the XT series electrode humidifiers provide the musicians with air that is healthier to breathe than dry air.

The design engineer recommended DriSteem for the project.  DriSteem representatives recommended that its XT series electrode steam humidifier, with its ability to be mounted on the wall coupled with low maintenance and easy access to direct control when needed, was the best unit for the room.

“The results of the DriSteem XT series electrode humidifier in the Hutchinson High School band room have been better than expected,” said Sima Higginson, Product Manager.  “DriSteem is proud to be protecting the instruments and the health of the next generation of great musicians.”

DriSteem XT series electrode humidifiers provide humidification for a wide range of buildings, including health care, commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Easy installation and cylinder replacement, together with minimal maintenance, make XT series one of the most affordable humidification systems to purchase and install.
